On May 18th, 2019, the exhibition “Talk to Her”, which is second of the series exhibitions “A Sudden Snow Tonight: Work Collection Cases of Chinese Young Artists since 1999” was opened at Line Gallery. This exhibition presented 30 paintings and 7 sculptures by twenty female artists born between the 70s and the 90s. They are Bu Hua, Chen Ke, Di Qing, Hou Wen, Jia Qian, Jiang Yu, Jin Nv, Ju Ting, Liu Bing, Liu Tianlian, Mo Di, Song Kun, Sun Yidian, Sun Ying, Xia Junna, Xin Luoting, Xu Hualing, Xu Maomao, Yan Wei, Zhang Ruyi. Their works are rich in content, each featuring an extraordinary story from a woman’s perspective and represented in an artistic way. This weighty exposition calls for a macro environment in which Asian female artists are given more attention.
