CUI YUN FENG
Self  Description.
Color  is  light  to  me,  light  is  space,  and  space  is  composed  of  light.
In  the  space  series,  I  return  to  the  most  basic  elements,  and  use  painting  to  construct  my  reconstruction  of  visual  space  and  the  transformation  of  current  visual  experience  through  the  correlation,  opposition,  and  fusion  between  color,  light,  and  structure.
The  visual  experience  I  understand  is  divided  into  two  aspects:  First,  it  is  the  self-consciousness  of  personal  experience,  a  systematic  establishment  within  the  scope  of  self-definition,  which  constitutes  the  individual 's  visual  outlook  and  aesthetic  preference.  The  second  is  the  infinity  of  visual  sources  (images,  internet  ......)  within  the  public  sphere,  i.e.  the  absence  of  directionality  and  filtering  mechanisms  for  visual  selection.  The  multiple  intersections  that  these  two  aspects  constantly  produce  in  the  dimensions  of  time  and  space  constitute  a  sort  of  visual  superposition,  like  a  sense  of  landscape  in  multiple  visual  spaces.
This  expression  of  viewing  or  the  viewing  of  expression  produces  a  subtle  mise-en-scène  in  perception  and  connection.  Overlapping  a  state  of  fusion  between  certainty  and  uncertainty.
